Janine is Pregnant!!
Its official. On 10/16, Janine was
10 weeks pregnant. We should be expecting the Stork on May 18th, 2003.

03/30/2003 - Our Neighbors threw Janine a baby shower. Thanks for all the great gifts!
03/27/2003 - Child Birthing classes are here. We decided that 1
day for 7 weeks was not a good idea, so we decided to do the crash course.
The 1st day was 3 hours and the next day was 8 hours.
Learned so much, I think I can deliver the baby myself.
03/27/2003 - Baby shower at Janine's work. Her co-workers
threw her a nice shower at Bahama Breeze (too bad she can't drink).
Thanks for all the great gifts!
03/24/2003 - Baby Room construction begins. Placed the order for a
crib last week. That should be in by mid April. In regards to
the room, the plan is to add a chair rail around the entire room, below that
we will have a wallpaper border with baby bugs (I will add pictures here
when room is complete). Some paint and we will be done.
03/08/2003 - Baby Shower!!! We flew to Chicago for our baby
shower. (Boy were my arms tired....) Our moms and Janine's
sisters decided to throw us a beautiful baby shower. We got a ton of
things that we can definitely use for the baby. Getting all that stuff
on 1 plane was tough.. HA! Thanks for all the great gifts!
02/25/2003 - No sleep for mom and dad. The time has come. I
can't sleep because Janine can't sleep. She can't sleep cuz the baby
is kicking, prodding and stretching. That and the simple fact
that she is getting a little bigger (trying to stay politically correct),
makes it very uncomfortable to sleep. Since Janine got pregnant, we
have been taking profile pictures of her every 2 weeks (in her
bikini). Its real cool seeing how she changes throughout the
pregnancy. You can see her

02/06/2003 - Once again, Janine and the Baby are doing great.
We heard the heartbeat again. I guess January 8 was the last
ultrasound we will see unless there are complications. Guess I have to
wait to see him/her in person now. We are 25 weeks now. Its
getting closer.
01/08/2003 - Baby is doing great.
Heartbeats are still around 160bpm. Baby is around 22 centimeters and is
approx 21weeks and 3 days old. He/She weighs 14 ounces at this time.
We saw the lips, nose, ears, skull, brain, spine, heart-beating, kidneys,
bones in the arms and legs. The baby was opening and closing its mouth
and you can even see the tongue moving around kinda in a sucking motion.
The baby must have been tired because it was not too active. Moved his
legs and arms a bit though. Kinda brought a tear to my eyes.
This is really the most amazing thing I have ever seen. In the next ultrasound, you basically will see the profile
of the babies head with his right arm over his head - kinda in the "thinker
position". Must be a braniac already... haha.
12/04/2002 - 18th week - Another doctors visit. Baby and Mom
are doing great!
11/14/2002 - We heard the babies heartbeat for the first time.
Sounds just like PACMAN when he eats the dots. They clocked his/hers
heartbeat at 160bpm (beats per minute).
10/29/2002 - Now this next picture is
amazing... Must take after his old man, HA! Janine's
